ABOUT THE CLC

The Kings Row Community Life Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 established with a goal of serving the ever-changing needs in our community. As childcare centers closed during the pandemic, we opened to fill the need for essential workers. In our first year, our community was faced with the challenge of COVID-19. To meet this challenge, we opened as a Distance Learning Center in August 2020 for K-12 students serving over 100 families. We partnered with the Federal Government, Food Bank of Northern Nevada, and local churches to provide food for over 250 families in the month of October. Our goal is to fill the gap of our working parents and to be a stable environment in a very uncertain time. We welcome and value every family that comes through our doors and provide social and emotional support for our students and their families. Together we can.

TESTIMONIALS ABOUT US

"My kids love coming here! The staff are all loving and caring and great with the kids! The CLC has stayed open during school closures/shut downs so parents can still go to work. Would recommend 10/10."

- Heather Y.

"Our family has been going through some big changes, and my daughter was struggling and acting out. She was always getting in trouble at the aftercare program through her school and it was not a good fit. The CLC was happy to take her in, and help her settle in and feel safe. Her behavior has not only improved in their care, but also at home and even her teacher has seen improvements. She has made friends and that makes us all very happy."

- Sean S.

"I struck gold when I found the CLC! They really care about the kids and their well-being. You can absolutely feel the love and care from Ms. Stacy and her whole team. When I drop my daughter off, it feels like I'm leaving her with family AND my daughter has so much fun with all the activities, trips and crafts. This place is amazing! The amount of care goes above and beyond what I've seen at other child care places. We are truly blessed to be a part of the CLC family.

"We have been coming to CLC for 2 years now, but it feels like forever! All of our staff are AMAZING and my kids absolutely love coming here for all their school breaks. They do so many fun and creative activities with the kids! More importantly they teach our children to create a positive impact to the community. They sent my kiddos a LETTER IN THE MAIL after Spring Break wishing them a strong end to the school year. It really is the little things that matter when you are depending on your kids being in a positive environment while we are not there....we LOVE the CLC and I am so glad that we found them!"
